WelcomeHi. I'm Paul Petrucci. I'm an Information Technology project manager, author, and book marketing coach. This is the launching page for reading about those interests in more detail. Book Marketing CoachAs every small press author knows, the real work begins after your book goes to press. Promotion and marketing (and often sales) often become your responsibility, not your publisher's. |

My mystery novel Prodigal Logic was published in 2002. The plot blends my interest in psychology, religion, and metaphysics. In the book, protagonist Ray Gabriel has created a computer program that imitates the logical deduction skills of human experts. He names it Sherlock-in-a-Box. When he and Sherlock get pulled into the investigation of a local priest's apparent murder, Ray's ultra-reasoning brain is tested as he encounters channelers, poets, and black mass participants - characters whose motivations reside at the fringes of reason. In discovering the murderer, Ray also discovers the limitations of logic.
