Welcome

Hi. I'm Paul Petrucci. I'm an Information Technology project manager, author, and book marketing coach. This is the launching page for reading about those interests in more detail.

Book Marketing Coach

As every small press author knows, the real work begins after your book goes to press. Promotion and marketing (and often sales) often become your responsibility, not your publisher's.

I've learned book marketing from the trenches and my mission is to coach others to success. Click here to see my marketing/coaching profile, and here for my Book Marketing Coach blog.

Prodigal Logic

My mystery novel Prodigal Logic was published in 2002. The plot blends my interest in psychology, religion, and metaphysics. In the book, protagonist Ray Gabriel has created a computer program that imitates the logical deduction skills of human experts. He names it Sherlock-in-a-Box. When he and Sherlock get pulled into the investigation of a local priest's apparent murder, Ray's ultra-reasoning brain is tested as he encounters channelers, poets, and black mass participants - characters whose motivations reside at the fringes of reason. In discovering the murderer, Ray also discovers the limitations of logic.

BookConnector

My "author connection" site BookConnector was born from my experience marketing Prodigal Logic. The site is all about making connections to reduce the time and energy that authors and publicists spend reaching services in cyberspace. The flagship service is the "Connect to Book Review Sites," which matches a book to a long list of online book review sites. This matching saves the user time in tracking down sites that deal with their genre and manuscript type.
